Grace Polytechnic is the second of the first group Private Polytechnics approved for establishment by the Federal Government following the issuance of decree 9 of 1993. The Polytechnic was established in 1999 by the authority and instrument of the Nigerian Federal Government with franchise to run academic programmes under the supervisory agency of the National Board for Technical Education, NBTE.
