Federal Science and Technical College (F.S.T.C) Kafanchan is located along the Kafanchan - Kagoro road. The co–educational College was established in 1990 as Federal Technical College with 46 students. In 2004 the name of the College changed to F.S.T.C following the introduction of Junior Secondary School programme. At present, the population of the college stands at 477 with 63 teachers out of which 49 are professionally qualified.
