Government Technical College, Ado-Soba was established in 1985 as a Vocational College by the Lagos State Government but upgraded to a Technical College in 1989. Its one of 5 Technical Colleges owned by the State Government to produce craftsmen and technicians in manufacturing, building and engineering trades as well as business and distributive trade areas. It currently runs programmes for 14 occupational trades.
