Lola Margaret Early Life

Lola lost her parents in 1999 while she was quite young, and had to live with her aunt. Being an orphan didn’t stop her from pushing through to fame as her aunt was very supportive. She, however, had the free will, with no contention whatsoever to go full time into acting. She had her primary and secondary school education in Osun state and studied at the Lagos State University where she bagged a B.A in History and Industrial Relations.

Lola’s acting career was physically birthed in the University when she met the then very popular comedian, Bolaji Amusan, known as Mr. Latin. She met him at a friend’s place and immediately relayed to him her intentions to venture into acting. Sequel to her request, he invited her over to Abeokuta where he was currently having a shoot. She frequently visited Abeokuta from the University for more shoots and gained recognition after she starred in the Yoruba movie, Bisola Alan.

Lola has since then, gotten many lead roles and has increasingly gained popularity, starring in several movies including Eyin Akuko and Omo Oloro, a film she produced starring the likes of Fathia Balogun and Mercy Aigbe. She admired the likes of Bukky Wright and Joke Silva in the movie industry. Aside from acting, she manages her wine business and also has rice and groundnut stores.

Lola has a fiance whose name she has chosen not to disclose. She, however, claims he is very understanding and refutes every claim that he is a politician. She was recently arrested and charged by the Atlanta police for having carried out fraudulent activities. She regained her freedom, was deported to Nigeria and is reported to have been keeping a low-profile in Ibadan since her return. She loves to hang out with her friends once in a while, and a number of them are not part of the movie industry. She is a devote christian and also claims not to associate with people so much.
