Hon. Samson grew up in Benue State where he attended primary and secondary schools and graduated with First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) and Senior School Certificate respectively. He thereafter attended the polytechnic and graduated with a diploma in accounting. He further earned a certificate as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He also holds a certificate in auditing.
