Hon. Kabir attended Government Day School, Chaka and obtained the West African Senior Certificate (WASC) in 1988. In 2004, he bagged a National Diploma Certificate at the Isa Kaita College of Education, Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State. 

Hon. Kabir Shaibu Career

Hon Kabir was the Vice Chairman of Rimi Local Government Area from 1991 under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP). He worked with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) from 1994-2014. In 2015 he re-joined politics and was elected under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to represent Rimi, Charanchi and Batagarawa Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives.

He is a member of the House Committee on Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Councils and Ancillary Matters.
