Emeka Okonkwo popularly known as E-money was born on February 18, 1981. He is the younger brother to Nigerian singer and performer, Kingsley Okonkwo or Kcee as he is popularly called.

The nickname E-money came to him after he started throwing money and demonstrating what a luxurious life he had. Some people call him Arab money for his extreme generosity

in 1997 he opened up a small forwarding business he called Borisa Nigeria Ltd. and up until 2003, nothing special happened to Emeka. His business was rather small, and did not bring in much money that was until his first big after he got married to Juliet Okonkwo and on their way back to Lagos after their traditional marriage ceremony, a $2m contract which changed their lives forever.

He rose to recognition as a result of regular display of his flamboyant lifestyle on social media and for his use of a money spraying machine which many Nigerian celebrities are yet to lay their hands on. He has become one of the most sought after non celebrity in Nigeria today because everybody wants to know how he makes his money.

He is mostly associated with Five Star music record label. Among the artistes signed to his record label are KCee, Harrysong, and Skibi who faked his own death in a desperate bid to promote a single he just released.

E-money is also quite an important figure in oil and gas industry and is the CEO of Emmy Cargoes Limited.The buisness mogul is also into real estate. He is a licensed Nigeria Customs Service agent.

He is a proud owner of a state of the art mansion worth over 250million naira, fleets of SUVs, sport cars, chains of businesses within and outside the shores of Nigeria and as of 2018 is estimated to be worth $10million
