Emmanuel Ariwachukwu was born in Owerri, Imo State, on December 27th, 1993. A prolific footballer, he features as a centre back or as a defensive midfielder. He currently plies his trade with Akwa United in the Nigerian League. A leader on and off the pitch, Ariwachukwu was soon named captain of Akwa United few months after he was signed by the club.
