Iyabo Ojo Alice was born on the December 21st, 1977 in Itoko, Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria to Olubunmi Fetuga and Adekunle Ogunro. She is a film actress, movie producer and director.

Iyabo Ojo Early Life

Born as the last and only girl of her parent's three children, Iyabo had her primary school in Ogun state. She attended National College in Gbagada, Lagos state, and eventually went to Lagos State Polytechnic where she studied Estate Management.

Iyabo Ojo Career

Iyabo’s acting talent was nurtured while she was in secondary school as she regularly featured in the drama group. However, it was not until 1998 that she took it to the professional level. She approached Bimbo Akintola having watched one of her movies and indicated her interest in acting. With Bimbo’s assistance, she registered with the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN). She went for several auditions and eventually landed herself a role in an English Movie titled ‘Satanic’. Iyabo began getting more acting roles and her presence became known.

Eventually, in 2014, she started producing her own movies. Her first production was a Yoruba movie titled ‘Bolutife’. She has produced at least 14 movies and has starred in about 150 movies. In her utmost generosity, Iyabo in May 2011 launched her own NGO, Pinkies Foundation. The foundation’s major objective is to cater for children with special needs and the less privileged.

Iyabo got married in 1999, when she was 21, to a movie marketer in Lagos. After her marriage, she paused on her acting career. That marriage was blessed with two children whom she had in 1999 and 2001 respectively. Unfortunately, the marriage has been annulled, and she claims that the divorce was due to the fact that she married too early. She also claims that she has intentions to stop using her last name, Ojo. The single mum very recently almost lost her life during a tummy tuck surgery in Turkey. She, however, is doing very well now.
