Doris Simeon was born on July 22nd in Lagos, Nigeria. She was born and bred in Ojota area of Lagos state but hails from Etsako East Local Government Area in Edo state. She is an award-winning actress, model, MC, TV presenter, and philanthropist. She acts both in Yoruba and English movies.

Doris attended primary and secondary school in Ojota and later proceeded to PEFTI Film Institute in Ajao Estate Isolo, Lagos State where she graduated with a Diploma in Production Management.


Doris Simeon Career

Doris joined the movie industry in 2001, and featured in her first Yoruba movie titled “Oloju Ede” a movie that brought her to limelight and earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Africa Movie Academy Awards. She officially started out her acting career in Yoruba speaking movies before moving to English speaking movies. She began her career as an actress by participating in part three episodes of the Papa Ajasco comedy series “Papa Ajasco and Company” by Wale Adenuga Production which ran on WAP TV and later moved to Nollywood and started featuring in Nollywood movies which include Oloju Ede, Alakada, Ten Million Naira and Modupe Temi. 

In 2010, Doris Simeon starred as Da Grin’s girlfriend in the Nollywood movie titled “Ghetto Dreamz” and later co-produced the Yoruba movie title “Omo Iya kan” which was a success. She is currently one of the most gifted, most skillful, most creative and most talented actresses in Nigeria. She has featured in more than 100 movies which include Eti Keta, Oloju Ede, Alakada, Ten Million Naira, Abani Kedun, Iseju Marun, Omo Iya Kan, Ghetto Dreams, Silence, Gucci Girls, Alakada, Omo Pupa, Asiri, and Modupe Temi. Apart from acting she is also a television host, television presenter, event planner and a master of ceremony.

Doris was married to a movie producer and director Daniel Ademinokan, whom she met on a movie set. The marriage was blessed with one son named David. Unfortunately, in May 2013, Doris Simeon and her husband Daniel Ademinokan got divorced
