Stephanie moved to London, UK at the tender age of 1. She attended St Mary’s Church of England Primary school in North London, a place she described as “a really small school where Christianity was taken very seriously”. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Media Communications from the Brunel University in West London. Her childhood dream was to be become a lawyer. While at Brunel, she interned at MTV, Channel Four and Media Moguls PR.

While she was an intern in London, Coker and her friend came up with the idea of hosting an online show where students can show case their talent and it opened doors for many opportunities. Her first job was in 2006 as a waitress at the Arsenal Emirates stadium in North London. She began her career officially in 2010 when she won the MTV Freederm Presenter Competition. In 2011, London 360, a Community Channel (UK), magazine-style news show, offered her a role as a presenter.

Coker moved back to Nigeria in 2011 and got her first job with MTV Base Africa as an anchor of the countdown show “Street Request”. Since then, she has worked on various projects and shows such as Cool FMs Midday Oasis Show, MTVs Big Friday Show (with Basketmouth), Tinsel on Africa Magic. In 2013, alongside Bovi and Pearl, she co-hosted a star-studded Guinness Colourful World of more concert, an event earlier scheduled to be anchored by Bow Wow. On Friday, December 6th, 2013, Baileys Nigeria unveiled the duo of Stephanie Coker and Veronica Ebie-Odeka as the hosts of the newly established radio show: Baileys Boutique. She is also the Co – Host for The Voice Nigeria.

She hosted the Pepsi weekly top ten Radio chart show which aired through 2012 in Lagos (Cool FM), Abuja ( Cool FM), Ibadan (Splash FM), Benin (ITV), Enugu (Coal City FM), Kaduna (KSMC) and Umuahia (BCA). She is also a bubbly host and has co-hosted for brands such as Bacardi for their annual ‘Barcardi Airtel Cool wave Pool party’. She has dabbled in acting, playing the role of Feke in Tinsel alongside Osas Ighodaro and Chris Attoh.  In early 2016, she launched her own hair line called “Krocket Kulture by Stephanie Coker”, the hair line is a collection of different types of kinky hair.

In 2014, Stephanie featured in Lynxxx’s music video ,My Place, which led to the speculation that the two were dating. She later cleared the air in an interview with City People that the relationship between her and Lynxxxwas purely professional. In the same interview, she picked Banky W as her dream crush. 

On Saturday August 12th, 2017, Stephanie Coker tied the knot with her heartthrob Olumide Aderinokun, in a highly-anticipated destination wedding at the Greek Island of Mykonos. She is a cake lover.
