Growing up, Ego took her musical talents for granted only coming fully into it after joining 'Colours band' which is now known as Lagbaja's band.

She attended Central Primary School and then the prestigious Ikeja High School, GRA in Lagos where she graduated as a top student in 1991

Ego Ihenacho Ogbaro Career

Ego's career grew from being the sonorous and calming  voice that accompained Lagbaja's husky one for 12 years, releasing hits like 'Konko Below', 'Nothing for you' and 'Never far away' and going on world tours to becoming a solo artist in 2007.

She formed a band, Indigo band and has since then collaborated with notable musicians like Tosin Martins, Sunny Nneji, Djinee, Asa, Cobhams and Yinka Davies to name a few.

In 2011, she released a single titled 'I believe' with its video which was shot by Kemi Adetiba which was to address the violence that erupted in Jos city in 2010

In 2008, she became a Glo Ambassador headlining events and promos like the Glo 'Borrow Me Data' and in 2013 appeared on Ndani's TV session.
