Osinachi Jospeh Nee Kalu popularly known by her stage name, Sinach is a famous and multi award-winning Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, recording artiste, stage performer and a philanthropist born on 30th March 1977 in Lagos State, Nigeria. She is a native of Ebonyi State, Nigeria and is the second of four children.

As a teenager, Sinach gave her life to Christ, becoming a born-again Christian and joining her local church Christ Embassy in Lagos, Nigeria where the general Overseer, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome discovered her singing talent and made her senior worship leader at Believers Love World.

Sinach completed her primary and secondary school education in Lagos before gaining admission into the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State, Nigeria where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics.

Finally following her passion under the tutelage of her pastor, Sinach became a gospel artiste even though her father was initially against the idea, thinking that she would not make it as a gospel artiste in Nigeria.

Sinach has eight albums and has written over 200 songs. Her albums include "Chapter One", "I’m Blessed", "Shout it Loud", "From Glory to Glory"," Sinach at Christmas", "Sinach Live in Concert", "The Name of Jesus" and "Waymaker Live" and her hit singles include; "Way Maker", "I Know Who I Am", "Great Are you Lord", "Rejoice", "He did it Again"," Precious Jesus", "The Name of Jesus", "This Is my Season", "Awesome God"," For This"," I stand Amazed", "Simply Devoted" and " Jesus is Alive" among others.

Her songs has been translated into many different languages across countries and continents and has become the anthem in many christian homes and churches. She is listed by YNaija alongside Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Pastor Enoch Adeboye as one of the top 100 most influential Christians in Nigeria. Sinach has performed in several countries including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, United States of America, Antigua, Barbuda, Trinidad, Tobago, Grenada, Uganda, Barbados and the United Kingdom.

Sinach’s music and writings have become a means for fostering encouragement, hope, healing, and strengthening her fan's belief in Christ.

Sinach is married to Pastor Joseph Ogbu, a Pastor of Believers Love World Ministries and a pastor of Christ Embassy Church.
