Weird MC whose earliest life ambition was to become a basketball player was admitted into Ogun State University to study Law, but left after two year to focus on her music career going on to get a degree in Music Technology. While in secondary school at Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School, Lagos Nigeria, she was part of a Hip-Hop group who called themselves 'Weirdos' .They soon disbanded after failing to land a record deal.

Weird MC whose main music influences are Fela Kuti, Missy Elliott, Jimi Hendrix, Lauryn hill, Tina Turner, Dr Dre, The Neptunes and Lagbaja started out as a contestant on the club 291 contest U.K. where she placed third. Undetered, she went on from there to release her first single, “Wanna make u jack”/”Let’s Get Wet” which was produced by Kevin Best. This single was a chart topper, emerging as NO 1 on the Choice FM Promo charts and NO1 on the Blues and Soul UK Swing charts. Determined to take her music to the next level, she came back to Nigeria and after meeting with some music consultants, soon got signed to Disc Entertainment label on which she put out her debut album, “Simply Weird” which had singles like “Allen Avenue”.

After a long break given to soul searching and spiritual awakening, Wierd MC released a second album in 2006, "After Da Storm" under 0907 entertainment reminding her fans once again of what music should sound like. With singles like "Ijo Ya" produced by Mr Skillz and Don Jazzy topping all audio and video charts for eight straight weeks and peaking at No 1 on MTV BASE.

Wierd MC has a way of creating sounds that are so opposite, one minute with a song singing about life and politics and the next with a sound that keeps you tapping your feet. Singing in both English and her mother tongue Yoruba, Wierd MC strives to keep a bit of her African heritage intact. Recognized as one of the Pioneers of “Women in Afrobeat”, She revealed in an interview that what she loved about Hip hop was the fact that it was tongue in cheek, spontaneous energy, and there were no limitations to what one could do.

She performed at many concerts including the Benson and Hedges golden tones Series, Big Brother Nigeria, Bayelsa Festival,Hiphop Awards, City Pple Awards,Star Megajam Channel O Roadshow, Rhythm Unplugged,This Day Festival to name a few and with artistes like Femi Kuti, Lagbaja, Afrocelts, JJC and the 419 Squad, Tony Allen, Rhythmic Altered State, The Shrine sound System, Ashley Beedle, King Sunny Ade, KWAM1, Kween,2face and Psquare, gracing international stages with the likes of Akon, Jay-Z, LL cool J,Beyonce, Snoop, Busta Rhymes, Ciara and Missy.

She was the ambassador for Tourism and Golf Resort in her state, Ogun State
