Hon. Daniel Reyenieju

Hon. Reyenieju Daniel Oritsegbubemi was born on December 18th, 1966 to Pa George and Mrs. Elizabeth Reyenieju of Ogheye Community in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. He is a businessman and politician currently representing Warri Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.

Hon. Daniel grew up in Delta State where he also had his basic education. He had his primary education at Omatseye Primary School where he obtained the First School Leaving Certificate. He then enrolled at Iwere College in Koko, Warri North Local Government Area where he obtained the Senior School Certificate. He proceeded to the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, and in 1988 obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy.

Hon. Daniel worked as a Public Relations Officer and thereafter a Personnel Manager with D. B. N. Nig. Ltd. He left the company in 2003 to establish Nigitrade Ltd and Vio Interprom Services Ltd. He furthered his education by obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in 2014 from the Obafemi Awolowo Univrsity, Ile-Ife, Osun State.

He the political field, Hon. Daniel served as President of Itsekiri National Youth Council (INYC) from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, he was elected under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to represent Warri Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Abuja. He won re-election in 2011 and 2015. At the House, he has served in the following committees; FCT Area Councils, Electoral Matters & Political Party Matters, Petroleum Resources (Upstream), Air Force, Inter-Parliamentary Relations, Niger Delta, and Legislative Budget & Research.

Hon. Daniel is a Christian. He is married to Mrs. Mercy Reyenieju, a Computer Scientist from Akwa Ibom State. The marriage is blessed with 4 children; 3 boys and a girl.
