Hon. Nicholas Ossai

Hon. (Dr) Ossai Nicholas Ossai was born on November 4th, 1963 in Owa Ekei, Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State. His parents, Chief and Mrs. John Ossai Uzorka, are indigenes of Ndokwa Local Government Area of Delta State. He is an agriculturist, businessman and politician. He currently represents Ndokwa/Ukwani Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.

Hon. Nicholas Ossai Early Life

Hon. Nicholas began his education at Urban Community Primary School in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, and obtained the First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) in 1980. Thereafter he proceeded to the CMS Grammar School in Lagos and graduated in 1988 with the West African Senior Certificate (WASC). He proceeded to the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he bagged a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture in 1997. 

Hon. Nicholas Ossai Career

Hon. Ossai served as the Council Chairman of the College of Education in Agbor, Delta State. He is also a previous member of the Delta State House of Assembly. In 2011, he was elected under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to represent Ndokwa/Ukwani Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja.

He is the Chairman of the Ethics & Privileges Committee in the House. His legislative interests include legislative drafting and strategic management.

Hon. Ossai obtained an MBA from the University of Benin, Edo State. He also holds a doctorate degree (PhD) in Public Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
