Oluwabukola Sekinat Ajoke Wright (popularly known as Bukky Wright) was born on March 31st,1967 to her Muslim mum and Christian Dad in Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria. She is a Nollywood actress, politician, and businesswoman.

Bukky grew up in Abeokuta where she completed her primary and secondary schools. She went ahead to the University of Lagos where she studied Economics. She lived with her parents during this period.

Her acting career officially kickstarted in 1996. She got into the movie industry and soon started featuring in movies. One of her first appearances was in the Television series Super story produced by Wale Adenuga. She soon started featuring in Yoruba movies and became very popular for her roles. She has featured in many Nollywood movies like, Red Hot, Omotara Johnson, When Love Happens, Abeni, Outkast, 2014, Omolomo, Opa Abo, Unforgivable, Oba Magun, Red Hot, Ite Oku, Iyore, Oladunjoye, Ghettohood, Oko Nnene, Afefe Alaafia, Habitat and so on. Bukky wright began acting in 1996 and act in both Nollywood Yoruba and English movies. She have achieved a lot from her career as an actress and has produced and directed many movies especially Yoruba movies.

Apart from acting she is a big time business woman. She owns a Beauty spa called B collections and a boutique, she also owns a fast food restaurant, and a record label company called Wright Media International Bukky Wright net worth is estimated to be N380 million. She is also a multible brand ambassador and the CEO, Wright Media and Associates.

Bukky also has an eye for politics. In 2014, she contested for the post in Ogun state House of Assembly under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Bukky had a failed marriage and has two beautiful sons from the union. She became a grandmother when one of her son’s American girlfriend had a baby for him. She currently lives in the US but also frequents Nigeria.
