Nonso Diobi Early Life

Diobi grew up in Enugu, Nigeria in a family of five comprising of two girls & three boys. He is the last born in the family. He had a tough time early in life while trying to make ends meet; selling clothes to his friends in school. He studied Theatre Art at the University of Nigeria Nsukka. While growing up, he was a part of his church drama team which played a crucial role in his choice of career.

Diobi started his acting career while in the University. He followed someone to a movie shoot, and he was asked to stand in for a member of the cast who was absent. Though it didn’t turn out so well, it gave him a reason to forge ahead. He eventually made his appearance on-screen in 2001 in the movie titled Border Line. The movie was directed by Adim William. He then featured in the movie Hatred which brought him to the limelight. He has since then featured in over 150 movies. He has featured in movies like The Last 3 Digits, Overseas, Makers of Justice, Palace Slave, Across the Bridge, and Palace Slave.

Nonso Diobi has not been identified with any lady. Rumors have had it that he has his family abroad but he has openly refuted the claim. Diobi has been rumored to be a gay and has been linked to so many dating rumors. In 2014, he built a mansion for his mother.

On April 18th, 2016, the actor was involved in an accident. In a ‘thankful’ Instagram post, he said, “Had an accident yesterday evening, my leg all plastered up but I believe that sometimes God allows some things to happen to people so we can know who our true friends are.
