Olisa is one of the most respected and in demand radio and television executive producer and presenter on the African continent. Olisa is not only one of the biggest personalities but has also been at the cutting edge of African electronic media and entertainment since 1988 with more than 30 years experience in television, radio, film, and live events.

His electronic media career started with the Nigeria Television Authority as an independent presenter, producer and director on popular magazine/light entertainment programmes such as 'Tops of the pops' and 'Super sounds'. Olisa then went on to present, produce and direct four different weekly programmes like clapperboard Rap show and soul with sprite for Nigerians first independent private Television station, Clapperboard Television. Olisa has had a long and fruitful association with corporate Nigeria both as a spokesperson and on various platforms such as television, radio and live events.

Olisa has hosted the MTN Nigeria's Y’ello Television and Radio shows made numerous appearances as a host or as part of media campaigns for events including Project Fame Africa, Sean Paul tour, Wyclef Jean tour, Star Mega Jam, Face of Africa, The St. Moritz Style Awards, Thisday Fashion Show and music event, Launch of MTV Base Africa, Nigerian Television Authority's Charity Telethon in aid of Ikeja Cantonment bomb victims, groundbreaking shows like Apprentice Africa, Big brother Nigeria and worked with other blue chip clients like Mercedes Benz, Nokia, British Airways, Moet & Chandon, Oceanic Bank, Audi, British American Tobacco, Nigeria Breweries, Hennessy, United Bank For Africa, Chicken Republic, Virgin Atlantic, Johnnie Walker, Motorola, Guinness, Starcomms, Virgin Nigeria, Gillette Razors, Coca Cola and is the current host and an executive producer of the music reality show, Naija Sings.

According to reports, around 2am on Thursday September  8th,2011, Mr Adibua walked into his station and began to batter his own member of staff, Dewunmi, a Naija FM 102.7 news editor who works on a night shift. Olisa at the time was the programme director of Naija FM and of the Beat FM, as well as a morning host on the Morning Drive with Oreka. Mr. Adibua is said to have battered his subordinate with a brick whilst Dewunmi was asleep.

At over 50 years, the Edo state indigene is still single. In an interview he revealed why this was the case. "Well, unfortunately, my problem is that I’ve been married to my work for a long time. So, I’ve gotten used to a certain routine. My day starts at 5am, it ends around 10,11pm. So, if I had married now, whoever she is, even if it was Mother Theresa, she should have left me by now," he said.
