Adams completed his primary and secondary education at Teammate Children School and at Lagos State Civil Service Senior Model College in Ikorodu respectively. VJ Adams broke into the entertainment scene after he contested at the 2008 edition of “Next Movie Star West Africa”. In 2009, he was made the lead presenter of the show Excite on TV. He later joined the Consolidated Media Associates on February 2010.

VJ released a single titled “Winner” which featured Sound Sultan, Ice Prince and Splash. In 2014, his single titled “Whazup” which featured HarrySong topped many music charts in Nigeria. He has since worked with prominent names like Chidinma, Reminisce, M.I, Pasuma and Oriste Femi to name a few. He also anchored the 2014 edition of City People Entertainment Awards ceremony which was held in Lagos.

Furthermore, he recently launched his own denim shirt line to re-emphasize his passion and love for African contemporary fashion. Haven made relative success on television, he has gone ahead to carry on his uncanny legacy on radio and further shown his competence in music from executive producer to role rapper extraordinaire. VJ once again is about to take it a notch higher by making his debut on the big screens casted as the lead character in a blockbuster movie out soon.
