Chika Ike Early Life

Born and bred by religious parents in a close knit family of eight, Chika, who hails from Amoli in Awgu Local Government Area, Enugu State, was nicknamed Fancy Nancy by her nanny because of her bubbly and fashion-conscious character as a child. She was sometimes seen in her mother's room, face heavily made up, wearing her mother's heels, and striking a pose in front of the mirror. After her primary and secondary school education at St. Francis Catholic Secondary School, Chika got admitted to University of Lagos in 2004 to run a 2-years diploma program in Human Kinetics and Health Education.

Chika Ike Career

The actress, known for prominent curves, started acting at age six in her local church and watched a lot of movies while growing up; and was perhaps inspired by this to join the movie industry. After graduating from UNILAG, she landed her first roles in the movies Sweetlove and Bless the Child, directed by TChidi Chikere in 2005.

Her career went on an upward trajectory since then, as she partook in several movies including Heart of a Fighter, The Seekers, Street President, Unstoppable, Dangerous Beauty, Before the Rain, Royal Promise, Power of Beauty, The Prince of My Heart, Mirror of Beauty, My Only Girl, Wisdom of the Gods, Soul Engagement, and Love Wins among others.

On Setember 24th, 2011, Chika opened an upscale fashion accessories store, Fancy Nancy Collections in the city of Abuja, and was later appointed by the United Nation Organization as World Youth Ambassador.

In 2014, Chika graduated from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, California, United States of America where she studied film making. After graduating from film academy in New York, Chika Ike created and began hosting her reality television series known as “African Diva Reality TV Show”. After establishing her reality television series, Chika Ike went further to established her own film production company known as “Chika Ike Production” and produced her first cinema movie. In 2015, she collaborated with Rok Studios to produce movies like “Happy Ending” and “Stuck on You.” She has a charity foundation known as “Help the Child”. The non-governmental organization is aimed at helping less privilege children especially those on the street without anybody to accommodate them.

The actress got married to Tony Eberiri in 2006, and divorced in 2013, later citing domestic violence as the reason why she opted out of the marriage According to her, "I was a victim of domestic violence in my marriage and that was the singular reason I left my marriage, aside other reasons."

Chika is currently one of the richest and most influential actress in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $1 million.
