Amarachi Uyanne

Amarachi Uyanne was born in Delta state, Nigeria, on July 17th, 2004 to parents from Imo state. She is a popular Nigerian kid dancer, violinist, recording artiste, singer, songwriter and a performing artiste who became a household name after winning Nigeria's Got Talent in 2012.

Amarachi grew up in Benin City, Edo state where she attended to South Point Primary School and obtained her first school leaving certificate. She is currently studying at University Preparatory Secondary School (UPSS), Benin City, where she combines both her music career and academic studies.

Amarachi began her dancing career as early as 5 years of age.  In 2012, she rose to fame after winning the 2012 Nigeria Got Talent Hunt Show and Dancing Competition hosted by a multinational telecommunication network, Airtel Nigeria. She won ten million naira in the competition and became the youngest millionaire in Nigeria at the age of 8 years old. She went against one of the top contender, talented dancer and violinist, Godwin Ogechukwu. She and George Sampson both competed on different versions of the Got Talent TV show. 

In 2013 she released her first debut single “Amarachi Dance” which was accepted by global audience. The success of the song made her a public figure in Nigeria. After the success of her first single, in 2016, Amarachi released her second debut single “Over Sabi” featuring Nigerian best indigenous rapper Phyno. She has set-up a talent academy called Amarachi Talent Academy which specializes in dancing, singing, playing different instruments, violin, keyboard, guitar.
