Gabriel Ochie-Amanyi aka Terry G aka Akpako Master aka Ginjah Master aka Hit man aka Intellectual spiritual mad man is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, recording artist, stage performer, actor and producer born on 17th March 1986 in Benue State, Nigeria. He is the first child in a family of four with a father that is a pastor and a choir mistress mother.

Terry G practically grew up in the church choir encouraged by his mother who made him join the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Praise Palace, Oko-Oba choir, learning how to play different instruments and getting as good as teaching the Nigerian artiste Samklef how to play some instruments.
He attended Starfield Educational Centre in Lagos State, Nigeria which is his highest educational achievement as he could not further his education due to financial constraints.
Probably because his mother was a deaconess, Terry G started his musical career as a gospel artist going on to record an album under the genre which would not see the light of day due to finances and as a result of this, he decided to switch to Pop music where he seems to have found fame and fortune.
He learned under Faze who was a member of the then Plantashun boyz, acting as his backup singer. In 2006, Terry G got his spotlight after he was featured on Kemistry’s hit single “Shake” a song which he produced by himself and which became the first sign of his versatility in music but he became popular after the release of his hit single “Pass Me Your Love” featuring AY.com
He soon got signed to Bluemoon entertainment and with the release of the single, “Akpako Master” Terry G became not just a household name but a public figure. The single peaked at the top of the MTV music chart. Terry G's signature is his eccentric dress-sense called swagger, his controversial lyrics and his awkward identity which led The Punch Newspaper to describe him as “one of the world’s weirdest singers” and Channels News to describe him as the “Craziest musician in Nigeria”.
Citing 2Face Idibia as his greatest musical mentor and role model, Terry G has over four studio albums. He released his fourth studio album titled “Book of Ginger” in 2013 which he produced by himself. Other albums by him are Free Me, Ginjah ur Swaggah Season 1 and Terry Gzuz and some of his hit singles include So High, Run Mad, Testing Microphone, Free Madness, Love Affair, Sexy Lady, Oga, Ora and Baby Don´t Go all of them club favorites. He has collaborated with Nigerian artistes like 2Shots and IllBliss and produced for Jamix, Jaywon, Timaya, Ay.com, Igho, Terry tha Rapman and Naeto C to name a few.
He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TGP Entertainment which is the label under which he releases most of his songs and he is behind the beat of some Nigerian songs as he knows how to create dance beats effortlessly. Critics of Terry G insist that he has no lyrics as his songs have no meaning. Terry G also has a Nemesis, Mallam Spicey, a fellow musician who focuses his music on attacking Terry G and criticizing his dressing and sense of fashion.
In 2016, Terry G was on the screen again but this time as an actor starring in the movie, “1st Hit” alongside Zubby Michael, Nonso Diobi and Junior Pope Odonwodo. The movie was produced by Zubby Michael.
Apart from singing and acting, Terry G is a business man and entrepreneur who owns a pure water factory in Iju-Ishaga area of Lagos state.
Terry G had a son, Rex in 2014 with his girlfriend, Mimi.
A former chronic drinker and smoker, Terry G could not go a day without Jack Daniels and Alomo Bitters or his daily fix of weed but in an interview conducted in 2014, Terry G said he gave up the weed and that he did not drink as much anymore.
