He attended Sacred Heart Primary School and Loyola Jesuit College all in Lagos state, He then travelled to the U.S for a degree in Computer Information Technology from Purdue University, USA and a BA in Economics from American University Of Nigeria. He later went on to earn a master's degree in International Economics from the University Of Nottingham.

Growing up with sounds from the collections of his elder siblings with diverse tastes, from soulful 1980s/1990s Hip-Hop & R&B to the high tempo rhythmic progressions of Makossa, DJ Bally developed his eclectic taste which is featured in his art, from the way he fuses contemporary Afrobeats with Electronic Dance music, Hip-Hop, Trap and basically all genres.

Fondly called Baritone Bally by his fans, DJ Bally used to host a show with the Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos where he released a brand new mash up every Monday. He hosts a weekly online podcast called “Ballystic Radio” where he plays and speaks about the latest songs in various sub-genres of electronic music.

Apart from mixing songs which he is incredibly excellent at, DJ Bally is a record producer with a track record. His goal is to "spearhead the Electronic dance movement (EDM) movement in Africa while at the same time doing his part in spreading the gospel of Afrobeats music to the rest of the world". He also works as a Statistician at the Nigerian Ports Authority, Marina. DJ Bally is an entrepreneur with plans to start his own digital content creation company.

Due to his immense love for acting which he discovered while in secondary school, DJ Bally after his tertiary education, returned to Nigeria to enroll in the Royal Arts Academy, Surulere, Lagos for a formal training in acting. in 2008, he starred in 'The Art of Deceit', going on from there to feature in Kudus's 'Baby Mama'.

in 2017, Bally appeared on the screen again, this time as one of the 14 housemates on the second season of the reality game show, Big Brother Naija. He finished as the fifth runner up on the show, getting evicted on the 2nd of April. His participation on this show, invariably put 'Permanent' on his star status. While in the house, a movement was born, 'The Bally Rally Movement, whose initial aim was to signify his fans support for him. However, after getting evicted from the house, Bally gave the movement a new face, with the aim of promoting peace and youth empowerment through music.  With  the 'Bally Rally Outreach' outfit going on outreach programs to IDP camps and orphanages and 'The Bally Rally Party' outfit hosting mini carnivals, & music concerts featuring numerous games, food, drinks, merchandise sales and musical performances from artists and DJs.
