Michael Godson Ifeanyichukwu (popularly known as Mike Godson) was born on October 10th, 1985 in Kano state, Nigeria to parents from Imo State. He is an actor and entrepreneur.

Mike Godson Early Life

Mike grew up with his family in Kano state, and there he had his primary and secondary education. He attended the University of Jos, Plateau State where he bagged a degree in Theatre and Communication Arts.

Mike Godson Career

Mike's acting career officially began when he was 16 years old. After he graduated from the University, he started acting officially. His friend Kingsley Ukaegbu introduced him to the popular actor Ernest Obi who also caused him to meet Onyi Okechukwu, a director of Photography. Onyi was then working on the set of a movie featuring Van Vicker. Mike was then picked to play the role of Van Vicker’s younger brother. He soon became popular after he acted in the movie titled 7 books of Moses. He also starred in the 2015 Nollywood film “Amarachi” alongside Chioma Chukwuka, Obi Okoli and Eve Esin.

Mike was recently appointed as the youth ambassador of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of Nigeria. He is currently following the same line like Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo, who is also into Agriculture and already doing fine.? Although Mike did not disclose which product he has been into but from the packaging level, he is already preparing them for export and first country of contact is Cote D’Ivoire.

Mike Godson has an awesome personality. He is not yet married but intends to settle down when he is ready. In a recent interview, the 7 Books of Moses star actor maintained he is presently single and not ready to mingle, because he is still dealing with his last break up. "Presently, I am not in any relationship. I just broke up with my ex, so I am alone right now. It has not been easy trying to jump into another relationship. It’s almost a year since we parted ways. I have lots of friends, but I am not into any serious relationship right now. My ex didn’t really break my heart. We just parted ways amicably. We couldn’t handle each other, so we had to split. She was a very nice person, I like her a lot but she wanted to get married, but I wasn’t ready at that time, he said. When asked his idea of an ideal woman, the light skinned actor confirmed that he has big eyes when it comes to women," he said.

Mike was Nominated as Best Supporting Actor of the Year by City People Entertainment Award in 2015. He won the Best New Actor of the Year at the 2015 Classic Africa Merit Awards (CAMA).
