Birnin Magaji

Birnin Magaji local government area is in Zamfara state, Northwest Nigeria and has its headquarters in the town of Birnin Magaji. Towns and villages that make up Birnin Magaji include Buzuzu, Yargaladima, Bungudu, Birnin Magaji, Cigama, Modomawa, , Kuyawa,Gora, and Danfami Sabon Birimi. Birnin Magaji is bordered by Gusau, Zurmi, and Kaura Namoda and has an Emirate superintended over by the Emir of Birnin Magaji. The popularly spoken language in Birnin Magaji is the Fufulde language while the prominent tribe are the Fulani. The population of Birnin Magaji LGA is 182, 541 inhabitants while Islam is the widely practiced religion in the area.
