Obanliku

Obanliku local government area is found in Cross River state, South-south geopolitical zone of Nigeria with the headquarters of the LGA in the town of Sankwala. Towns and villages that make Up Obanliku LGA include Utanga, Sankwala, Busi, Basang, Bendi, Bebi, Bishiri, and Amana. The estimated population of Obanliku LGA is put at 164,903 inhabitants with the area mostly inhabited by members of the Becheve ethnic group. The Becheve language is commonly spoken in the LGA while the religion of Christianity is widely practiced in the area. Popular festivals held in Obanliku LGA include the New Yam Festival.
