Kudan

Kudan local government area is in Kaduna state, North-west Nigeria and has its headquarters in the town of Hunkuyi. Kudan LGA shares borders with the Makarfi, Soba, and Sabon Gari LGAs and with parts of Katsina and Kano states. Towns and villages that make up Kudan LGA include Randa, Zabi, Doka, Mahuta, Kushigi, Tsinka, Gani, Kauran waki and Dok. The estimated population of Kudan LGA is put at 214,662 inhabitants with the language of Hausa a s one of the spoken languages in the LGA. The religions of Islam and Christianity are commonly practiced in the area while the notable landmarks in the LGA include the Kudan earth Dam.
