About Jada Local Government Area (L.G.A)

Jada local government area is found in Adamawa state which is situated within the North-east geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Several towns and villages make up Jada LGA and these include Danaba, Jada, Koma, Nyibango, Leko, Mbulo, Yelli, and Mapeo. The population of Jada LGA is estimated at 113,482 inhabitants with the majority of the area’s dwellers being members of the Koma ethnic sub-division. The Koma language is extensively spoken in the area while traditional religion, Christianity, and Islam are all practiced within the area.


GEOGRAPHY OF JADA

Jada LGA is a hilly area and has a wide range of mountains dotting its landscape. Jada LGA hosts the popular Koma hills and has an average temperature of 29 degrees centigrade. The total precipitation in the area is put at 1000 mm of rainfall per annum while average wind speed in the LGA is 12 km/h.


ECONOMY OF JADA

The inhabitants of Jada LGA engage in a number of economic activities such as hunting, trade, farming, and the rearing of animals.
