Kware

Kware local government area is situated in Sokoto state, North-west Nigeria and has its headquarters in the town of Kware. The towns and villages that make up Kware LGA include Hamma Ali, Gandu, Marabawa, Kware, Durbawa, Umaruma, Saki, and Kabanga. The estimated population of Kware LGA is 169,708 inhabitants with the majority of the area’s dwellers being members of the Hausa and Fulani ethnic affiliations. The Hausa and Fufulde languages are commonly spoken in the area while the religion of Islam is widely practiced in the LGA.
