Lagos Mainland local government area is domiciled in Lagos state, South-west geopolitical zone of Nigeria and has its headquarters in the Ebute Metta district. Districts/Areas that make up Lagos Mainland LGA include Ebute Metta, Mushin, Surulere and Yaba. The estimated population of Lagos mainland LGA is put at 479,842 inhabitants with the area hosting members of diverse ethnic affiliations. The Yoruba and pidgin English languages are commonly spoken in Lagos mainland LGA while the religions of Christianity and Islam are widely practiced in the area. Otabke landmarks in Lagos mainland LGA include the Yaba college of Technology and the West African Examinations Council National headquarters in Yaba.
