Kukawa local government area is domiciled in Borno state, North-east geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Kukawa LGA is part of the prestigious Borno Emirate and consists of a number of towns and villages such as Alagama, Yoyo, Kekeho, Bongoa, Degagu, Dabu, Kauwa, and Garanada.
