The unique Information Technology Institute was established by Jigawa State in the year 2000 under the license of Informatics Academy, Singapore, with a view to train and produce IT graduates that would reposition the State and Nigeria as a whole.

The institute provides every platform for the students to acquire innovative IT skills that give them more cutting edges among peers. Currently, we have NBTE fully accredited National Diploma courses and flexible International Diploma courses that are Singapore based, (Informatics).

There is also a professional course, C-Tech, that provides cabling technology for those in the communication industries. More courses are being planned as part of the Institute’s expansion scheme. Since its inception, the Institute has grown to become Nigeria’s flagship, IT-led Institute, known for the excellence of its IT-teaching, IT-training and its IT-services to local, national and international organizations. What remains is for the students and other trainers to be diligent and focused as they join the IT-bandwagon, so as to reap the benefits, individually and or collectively for the overall societal development.
