Ayedire

Aiyedire locl government area is found in Osun state, Southwest Nigeria. The area is made up of several towns and villages which include Oluponna, Elewonta, Alaya, Adenlere, Lanye, and Ilaji Parapo. The headquarters of Aiyedire LGA is at Ileogbo while the area has the Yoruba as the dominant ethnic affiliation. Aiyedire’s population is put at 87,448 inhabitants with The Yoruba and the English languages as the primary means of communication within the area. Aiyedire is home to both Christian and Muslim faithfuls while popular festivals such as the Anlugbua festival are held in the area.
