Ife North

Ife North local government area is in Osun state, Southwest Nigeria and has its headquarters in the town of Ipetumodu. The LGA comprises several towns and villages such as Agodo, Akingbode, Yakoyo, Ologbo, Ashiba, Fagbore, Ogangan, Wasinmi, and Lamiriki. The estimated population of Ife North LGA is 86,708 inhabitants with the vast majority of the area’s populace being members of the Yoruba ethnic affiliation. The Yoruba language is extensively spoken in the area while Christianity and Islam are the commonly practiced religions in the LGA. Notable landmarks in Ife North LGA include the Community High School Ipetumodu.
