Ogbomoso South

Ogbomoso South local government area is domiciled in Oyo state, South-west geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The headquarters of the LGA are in the town of Arowomole and the LGA is made up of several towns and villages such as Oke ola, Adeoye, Arowomole, Obandi, Oke Alapata, Kajola, Gaa Legbedu, and Onidewure. The estimated population of Ogbomoso south LGA is put at 169,414 inhabitants with the area mostly inhabited by members of the Yoruba ethnic division. The Yoruba language is commonly spoken in the LGA while the religions of Christianity and Islam are widely practiced in the area.
